Hopefully someone can help with this, apologies if this is a duplicate question but as mentioned, I have tried searching, a lot. There are several ways you can specify the input images and well look at examples of some of these. I know the %d is looking for an input from the list at the end but from what I can see this is also the way to tell the FFMPEG to use all files in the image location. To create a video from a sequence of images with FFmpeg, you need to specify the input images and output file. I have tried searching for a solution but not getting anywhere fast. TypeError: %d format: a number is required, not str (screen_resolution, image_location, subfolder, count, preset, qaulity, duplicated_frame, video_path, video_filename), shell = True) I am working with python in a jupyter notebook, and I am trying to make a video out of several images. Proc = subprocess.Popen("C:\\ffmpeg\\ffmpeg.exe -r 1 -f image2 -s %s \ This is my code for generating the video: def create_video(screen_resolution, image_location, subfolder, count, preset, qaulity, duplicated_frame, video_path, video_filename): I have some code that takes a snapshot of the screen every X seconds and then creates a video out of these files however I am having issues when creating the video. I'm fairly comfortable with ffmpeg, but I'm just beginning to learn about python, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Then repeat that pattern with each video file in the folder. I am fairly new to Python and this is my first time using ffmpeg (basing this code on a colleagues). The goal is to have python open up batch file 1, and as soon as it completes the 1st pass, open up batch file 2 to finish off the video file's 2nd pass.
